Gingerbread houses!

December 15, 2014

Thanks to everyone who joined us for some part of our evening of Lessons and Carols. It was a new and interesting experience having it in Lobby 10, with bicyclists and sprinters in addition to the normal traffic in the Infinite.

This week we will have our service at 5:15 in the Main Dining Room of W11, for a bit of normalcy during the exam period. The futuristic Advent square will be mostly filled. You should stop by just for that. There will also be dinner around 6:30 in the Community Room, which will relieve you of one task for the day. Afterwards, we’ll build gingerbread edifices. I would have written “houses”, but I don’t want to stifle anyone’s creativity or desire to conduct experiments with alternative construction materials. It will be lots of fun to see what sort of structures can be built with the materials provided, so come and exercise your mind in a different way to break up the monotony of studying.
