Columbus Day retreats

September 29, 2014

After several weeks of the new semester, I’ll bet everyone is feeling in the groove. Can you even remember all the way back to when you weren’t taking these classes? I’ll admit that my memories of that time are little foggy. Join us for our worship service at 5:15 PM on Wednesday in the Main Dining Room of W11 and help create a sacred space of stillness to break through the activity. We’ll continue our fellowship with dinner right there afterwards (around 6:30).

University Lutheran (UniLu in Harvard Square) is sponsoring a couple of retreats over Columbus Day weekend (Oct. 10-14). (That’s right, there are no classes at MIT that Monday.) One is geared towards Young Adults and Graduate Students. The other hosts a more diverse range of ages and involves outdoorsy stuff. If you don’t have a couple of days to devote to a retreat in the near abroad, consider the 24-hour Young Adult and Graduate Student retreat at University Lutheran the next weekend. You can get more information here. Feel free to sign up to get information from UniLu about their programs.
